1930s Yo-Yo craze

The 1930s Yo-Yo craze was probably the most colourful and important Yo-Yo boom in history. I’ve been researching it for the last few months, here’s a short script extract from Down-Up that I wrote while on a business trip in Istanbul. I say business trip, really I mean a cushy performing gig.

It’s a test to see how the script feels, it’s not designed to be only consumed over audio but visually as well in a live performance however it is a nice indication how a my possible Yo-Yo podcast might end up feeling. The intro is from a song recorded in 1932, I’ll post more on that later.
