Presentations

word4word

Down-Up is somewhere between a piece of theatre and a presentation. If you’re interested in presentation theory then it’s worth watching Seth Godin and reading his advice on the subject in which he excels. I’m trying to apply Seth’s 5 rules to presentation to Down-Up. Most of them are straightforward but his first rule is a little tricky.

  1. No more than six words on a slide. EVER. There is no presentation so complex that this rule needs to be broken.

In Beta Testing there were a fair few slides which had lots of text on and although Down-Up is far less guilty of this, there were a couple of slides which I’ve purged.

Worth reading these blog posts by Seth if you’re interested in presentations and the like….
